The neighborhood itself is comprised of homes built in the 30s and 40s and very close to several attractions including the Shoal Creek Greenbelt, Ramsey Park with a swimming pool, tennins courts and more, and the historic Moore-Hancock Log Cabin.

Popular businesses are in the area as well, such as the Central Market on 38^th,Torchy’s Tacos, Sue Patrick, Teo’s, Upper Crust Bakery, the Seton Hospital system, and the historic Draught House pub, which is a popular local watering hole with a British pub feel.

Rosedale has a strong Neighborhood Association with monthly meetings and a host of community events for the whole family. From night swims at Ramsey Pool to neighborhood Halloween parties, to 4^th of July festivities, Rosedale is a vibrant Austin neighborhood.
